A Year of Recovery
Cosby spent months at Atlanta’s Shepherd Center, where clinicians guided him through a rigorous rehabilitation program. Staff encouragement helped him stay focused on both physical healing and his academic goals.
Head coach Antoine Pettway, who had projected Cosby as a key player before the crash, shifted his priorities from the scoreboard to supporting Cosby’s recovery. "Our focus was on getting him healthy first," Pettway said, noting the team’s patience throughout the process.
