TopDrawerSoccer.com has released its preseason rankings for the 2026 women's soccer season, spotlighting two members of the Tennessee Lady Vols.
Freshman forward Ayva Jordan earned a spot on the Freshman Best XI and sits sixth overall among incoming freshmen, a testament to her decorated ECNL background and prior U.S. Youth National Team experience.
Jordan, a native of Las Vegas, brings a strong résumé that includes being named the 2021 Player of the Year, four‑time All‑America honors and a stint with the national youth team from U‑15 through U‑19.
Joining her in the rankings is junior goalkeeper Cayden Norris, who cracked the Preseason Top‑100 at No. 74 after a sophomore campaign that featured 13 clean sheets and a .793 save percentage.
Norris also posted 46 saves during the previous season, underscoring her role as a reliable last line of defense for the Volunteers.
Season Opener at Regal Soccer Stadium
The Lady Vols will open the 2026 campaign at Regal Soccer Stadium on August 13, hosting Rutgers at 7 p.m. ET, a game that will test the newly recognized talent on the field.
Coaches view the preseason accolades as a positive indicator of the team’s depth and potential as they gear up for a competitive schedule.
