A night of celebration and community
The seventh annual Tipoff Banquet for Troy Athletics will be held on Thursday, October 15, at 6 p.m., marking the start of the 2026‑27 basketball season that opens on November 2.
The evening will feature a dinner buffet, drinks, enter‑to‑win drawings, a silent auction and a Q&A session that offers a preview of the upcoming campaign.
Men’s basketball head coach Adam Howard said the banquet provides a valuable opportunity for the team and staff to connect directly with supporters, while women’s basketball head coach Chanda Rigby highlighted its role in introducing new players to the fan base.
Individual tickets cost $100, while a full table of six seats plus two student‑athletes is priced at $625; sponsorships begin at $1,000 and include special recognition during the event.
All proceeds from tickets and sponsorships will benefit Troy Athletics basketball programs, supporting both men’s and women’s teams.
