Toledo Rockets Announce 2026‑27 Women's Basketball Schedule
The University of Toledo women's basketball program has released its full 2026‑27 Mid‑American Conference schedule, a demanding 18‑game slate that blends a strong home‑court presence with a rigorous road circuit.
Head Coach Ginny Boggess, entering her third season, emphasized the competitive nature of the league, noting that the Rockets will face a mix of familiar Ohio rivals and out‑of‑state opponents as they aim to sustain recent success.
Key Matchups
The season opens on January 2 with a home game against Kent State, and later features two Saturday Battle of I‑75 contests against Bowling Green on January 23 and February 27, providing marquee moments for fans.
Eight non‑conference games will be held in Savage Arena, including contests versus Akron, Miami, Ohio, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Buffalo and Ball State, giving the team ample opportunity to fine‑tune before league play.
In conference action, Toledo will host nine games and travel to nine, meeting each of the five Ohio‑based schools twice and taking on Ball State and Western Michigan once, a format that underscores the league's balanced schedule.
The campaign will culminate with the 2027 Mid‑American Conference Tournament at Rocket Arena in Cleveland from March 10‑13, where the Rockets have reached the title game in each of the past two seasons.
