The decisive moment arrived in the eighth minute when junior midfielder Maggie Schmidt found the back of the net, securing the only goal of the match and marking her first tally of the season.
Goalkeeper Allison Deardorff was the backbone of the win, making three saves and delivering a pivotal stop in the 41st minute that preserved the shutout and earned her first clean sheet of the year.
