North Carolina State’s women’s basketball program has unveiled its non‑conference schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a slate that blends home comforts with a gauntlet of nationally ranked opponents.
A challenging non‑conference slate
Head coach Wes Moore, who has guided the Wolfpack to a dominant 145‑19 record at Reynolds Coliseum over the past decade, highlighted the home portion of the schedule, which includes early‑season matchups against Wofford and Campbell before a November 8 showdown with Kentucky at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
The road portion will take the team to venues in New Jersey, Florida and Mississippi, where they will meet Ole Miss in Oxford and test themselves against LSU and Kansas State in a Florida swing later in November.
In addition to the 13 official games, the Wolfpack will stage two exhibition contests at Reynolds Coliseum, facing High Point on October 8 and UNCW on October 24, giving fans a first look at the new roster before the regular season begins.
The schedule was chosen to challenge the team against a collection of NCAA tournament participants, including Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Jacksonville, while also confronting other postseason qualifiers such as Seton Hall, Kansas State and Navy. With an average opponent NET ranking near 103, the Wolfpack are poised to sharpen their résumé ahead of conference play.
