The Columbus Blue Jackets have unveiled the centerpiece of their 2026‑27 campaign, an opening night slated for October 1 that will be sponsored by Nationwide and accompanied by a commemorative calendar giveaway for fans who purchase the season’s first tickets.
Themed Evenings and Community Packages
Throughout the year the club will transform several home games into themed experiences, including a Halloween celebration on October 24 that bundles a Peanuts‑branded bobblehead with special access, a Marvel‑themed night on December 19 featuring Avengers and Dr. Doom imagery and a Jet Greaves figurine, and a Star Wars Night on February 20 that marks the 50th anniversary of the original film with a wearable collectible.
Family‑oriented fans can also take advantage of the Columbus Dispatch Family Value Pack, which pairs a ticket with a skate pass and a discounted meal, while returning traditions such as Hockey Fights Cancer Night and Military Appreciation Night receive dedicated ticket bundles.
New offerings this season extend to LGBTQ+ Pride Night and Sustainability Night, each designed to highlight inclusivity and environmental responsibility, the latter of which includes a 2026‑27 team poster as part of its ticket package.
All of these special packages will become available to the general public on August 14, 2026, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time, giving supporters ample opportunity to secure seats for the events that blend sport with pop‑culture and community outreach.
