The University of Cincinnati announced its 50th Hall of Fame class for 2026, a cohort that blends pioneering athletes, celebrated coaches and trailblazing contributors to the school’s rich sporting heritage.
A Milestone Celebration
The induction ceremony is slated for October 23 at Fifth Third Arena, the night before the Bearcats stage their 100th Homecoming contest against Texas Tech, a game that will spotlight both tradition and the program’s future.
Among the inductees, former Bearcats center Jason Kelce stands out as the final member of the class, capping a career that includes six All‑Pro selections, seven Pro Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl LII championship with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The class also honors figures such as basketball legend Bob Huggins, track stars Loretta Blaut and Wayne Mason, baseball great Mike Kinnett, soccer goalkeeper Christy Hoffman and versatile player Connor Barwin, as well as longtime assistant Bob Mangine.
Head coach Scott Satterfield, now in his second season, has emphasized unity and improvement as the team prepares for the milestone game, hoping the occasion will galvanize the squad for the challenges ahead.
