The Bulldogs open the season at home against Kent State and will mark a century of Dunkin’ Dog basketball with a slate of 32 games.

Louisiana Tech has released its complete 2026‑27 men’s basketball slate, a 32‑game journey that blends Sun Belt Conference battles with non‑conference road trips and celebrates 100 years of Dunkin’ Dog basketball.

The season will be anchored at the Thomas Assembly Center, where the Bulldogs will host 18 conference matchups, split evenly between home and away.

The opening night arrives on November 2, when Tech welcomes Kent State as part of the MAC‑SBC Challenge, kicking off a stretch that includes in‑state road trips to face Arkansas‑Monticello, LSU and Nicholls, as well as home games against Jacksonville State, Tulane, Alcorn State and Texas State later that month.

December brings a pair of road tests at South Alabama and the University of Alabama’s Gamecocks, followed by home contests versus Arkansas Baptist and Stephen F. Austin before the Sun Belt home opener against Appalachian State on December 19.

A non‑conference showdown with Jackson State is slated for December 22, and the schedule then shifts into January with a road trip to Old Dominion in Virginia on January 2, plus home games against James Madison, Marshall and Arkansas State.

The Bulldogs will play five games in Louisiana over the course of the season, highlighted by a final home game at UL‑Lafayette on February 3, and will close out the regular season with a New Year’s Eve clash at Coastal Carolina in South Carolina.

Season ticket holders can secure early‑bird pricing by renewing before August 31, after which prices will increase.
