RIT's women's hockey program is gearing up for a demanding 2026‑27 campaign in the Atlantic Hockey America conference. Coach Celeste Brown took the opportunity to lay out the entire slate, emphasizing the blend of home‑court advantage and challenging road excursions that will test the team's depth and resilience.
A season packed with rivalry and growth
The Tigers will contest 24 conference games, beginning with a home weekend against Delaware on October 9‑10. The early stretch sets a competitive tone, followed by a two‑game series at home versus Penn State on October 30‑31. Both matchups promise high‑energy play and an early chance for the team to establish momentum.
Mid‑season action includes a home‑and‑home series with Syracuse on November 20‑21, as well as road trips to Mercyhurst (Nov. 27‑28) and Delaware (Dec. 4‑5). The schedule also features a second‑semester home weekend against Robert Morris on January 8‑9, a visit to Lindenwood on January 15‑16, and a home‑and‑home set with Syracuse again on January 29‑30.
The latter half of the season culminates with a home series against Mercyhurst on February 12‑13, providing a final opportunity for the Tigers to finish strong before the regular season concludes. Throughout the year, RIT will also travel to face Penn State on February 5‑6, rounding out a demanding but exciting schedule.
