Samantha Busch, the widow of NASCAR legend Kyle Busch, has announced a tribute event that will unfold at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 19, coinciding with the Bass Pro Shops Night Race.

The centerpiece of the ceremony is a specially liveried No. 54 Toyota, painted in a mosaic of M&M's colors that mirrors the many sponsorships Kyle enjoyed throughout his career.
Ty Gibbs, grandson of team owner Joe Gibbs and currently second in the 2026 Cup Series standings, will drive the car, adding a personal connection to the legacy he seeks to honor.
Gibbs recently secured his second win of the season at the Iowa Corn 350 on August 9, a performance that has positioned him as a rising star ready to pay homage on the track where Kyle recorded 22 victories, including his final win in 2022 with Joe Gibbs Racing.
Samantha Busch said the tribute allows fans to celebrate the driver’s love of the sport and his lasting imprint on the half‑mile concrete oval, ensuring that his memory remains vivid for future generations.
The event will feature the car on the track during the night race, blending competition with remembrance, and will serve as a poignant reminder of Kyle Busch’s enduring influence on NASCAR.
