Avant becomes NASCAR’s official credit card partner for the 2027 season

The fintech firm replaces Credit One Bank, unveiling co‑branded cards and exclusive fan rewards

A new partnership for a new era

Avant Credit Corp. has been named the official credit card partner of NASCAR, taking over from Credit One Bank at the start of the 2027 season. The agreement introduces a suite of co‑branded credit cards that are designed to deepen the connection between the sport and its millions of fans.

Cardholders will automatically be placed in the ‘All Star’ tier of NASCAR’s Fan Rewards loyalty program. The tier grants access to race tickets, merchandise and exclusive in‑track experiences, while also delivering a 3% cash‑back rate on purchases in unspecified categories.

The partnership is the culmination of years of behind‑the‑scenes work by Avant, which has long expressed interest in aligning with NASCAR’s passionate fan base. In addition to the national rollout, the company has previously engaged in team‑level collaborations, testing the waters before committing to a full‑scale national deal.

Charles Whittaker, Avant’s Chief Business Officer, emphasized the company’s focus on serving the sport’s loyal supporters. “Our goal is to provide financial solutions that resonate with fans who live and breathe NASCAR,” he said, highlighting the tailored approach the firm plans to adopt.

Credit One Bank, which had been a NASCAR sponsor since 2016, exited the sport without a public announcement, leaving a vacuum that Avant is now filling. The transition reflects a broader trend of fintech firms seeking high‑visibility partnerships in traditionally mainstream sports.

Beyond the credit cards, Avant describes itself as a credit‑first financial technology company that specializes in lending to middle‑class consumers. By leveraging its expertise, the company hopes to turn the excitement of race day into tangible financial benefits for fans across the United States.
