The D’Arbonne Woods Charter Wolves are gearing up for another ambitious campaign as the 2026 season approaches, marking the third year under head coach David DeMoss. The program has reached the Division III select playoffs for four consecutive seasons, establishing itself as a consistent contender in Louisiana high school football.
A District Battlefield
Competing in District 2‑2A, the Wolves face tough opponents such as Mangham, Richwood and Beekman Charter. Past playoff runs have included regional defeats to Newman and Parkview Baptist, but the team remains focused on turning those setbacks into stepping stones for future success.
The roster returns a core of experienced starters, including quarterback Daltin Albritton and senior tackle Carson Riser, who earned All‑District and All‑State honorable‑mention honors last season. Their presence provides stability on both sides of the ball.
However, Albritton’s recent injury concerns have opened the door for junior Ryder Genis to assume the starting quarterback role. Genis brings a fresh perspective to the offense, and his development will be a key storyline throughout the season.
The senior class also features standout athletes Jericho Adkins, Omari Griffin and Tyrone Nelson, while track standout Joley Bennett continues to bring state‑level recognition to the school with her javelin and shot‑put performances.
Supporting the starters, players such as Avery Skains, Bradley Thrash, Ethan Thrash, Ethan Boggs and Dylan Rodriguez contribute depth at various positions, adding versatility to the Wolves’ lineup.
