The Florida State Seminoles, entering the season as the No. 4 ranked team in the nation, opened their campaign with a convincing 4-0 victory over unranked Stetson College.
From the outset the Seminoles asserted control, generating six shots on goal in the first half while Stetson managed just one, a disparity that set the tone for the match.
Early in the contest, Wrianna Hudson tested the Stetson defense with three shots on goal, but both her attempts and an effort from Adam Erbach were denied by goalkeeper Boesel.
