Players teed off at an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start, competing in a four‑person scramble that featured classic skills challenges including closest‑to‑the‑pin, longest putt and longest drives. The format blends competition with a relaxed, community‑focused atmosphere.
Sears Imported Autos added excitement by sponsoring the eighth hole with a hole‑in‑one contest that promised a two‑year lease on a 2026 Mercedes‑AMG CLA 45 S Coupe, giving participants a tantalizing prize for a perfect shot.
This year’s edition welcomed 110 golfers organized into 27 groups, a seven‑player increase over the 2025 tournament, and attracted 20 sponsors, fourteen more than the previous year. The growing numbers reflect a rising interest in the event across the community.
Former EPHS standouts Kyle Rau and Jackson Blake, both NHL players, joined the field, while volunteers such as coaches Lincoln Nguyen and Steve Persian and student‑athletes kept the event running smoothly from registration to on‑course assistance.
Fundraising games like “Bucket Golf” on the third tee, where participants chipped Wiffle Balls into buckets for prizes, added a playful twist, and contributions from the hockey roster helped boost the total amount raised.

Organized largely by parents, the tournament has become a growing community tradition, drawing more participants and sponsors each season. The blend of sport, camaraderie and charitable giving ensures that the event will continue to expand, supporting Eden Prairie’s hockey teams for years to come.
