Prep Baseball Iowa is set to host its annual IA Summer ID‑Eastern event on August 15, 2026, at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The showcase will bring together more than 35 high school prospects from the graduating classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029, encompassing both newcomers and athletes who have refined their games during the recent high school season.
Participants will be divided into sessions for position players, pitchers and two‑way players, each with designated check‑in windows and start times designed to streamline the day's schedule.
Technology‑Driven Scouting
Partners such as TrackMan, Vizual Edge and Blast Motion will supply real‑time analytics and post‑event reports, giving players actionable insights into their performance.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring snacks and beverages, as the evaluation period may extend beyond the initial timeframe.
The event forms part of Prep Baseball Iowa’s broader mission to track player development across the state and to connect emerging talent with future scouting opportunities.
