Bemidji State University announced the appointment of Bodie Hadenfeldt as a second assistant coach for its women's basketball team, a move that will take effect at the start of the 2026‑27 season under head coach Madison McKeever.
A Coaching Path Built Across Multiple Levels
Hadenfeldt arrives after a season spent as an assistant at Fort Hays Tech Northwest in Kansas, where he oversaw player development, scouting, film analysis, recruiting, practice planning, game preparation, travel logistics and day‑to‑day program operations. His tenure there followed four years as a student assistant with the Mount Mercy men's basketball program, during which he honed his ability to work closely with student‑athletes.
Emphasis on Development and Recruiting
At Fort Hays Tech Northwest, Hadenfeldt played a pivotal role in shaping the NJCAA program's competitive edge, focusing on elevating individual player performance while also expanding the roster through strategic recruiting efforts. His approach blends analytical insight with hands‑on mentorship, a combination that aligns with the Beavers' ambition to strengthen their on‑court identity.
