Season Ticket Deposits Now Open for PSU Basketball
Portland State University has opened season ticket deposits for both its men’s and women’s basketball programs, with tickets available from $50 for the men’s side and $25 for the women’s, making early access affordable for fans across the city.
The men’s roster will feature a blend of experience and fresh talent, highlighted by the addition of former Pac‑12 Sixth Man of the Year Koren Johnson and NCAA Division II rebound leader Jaquay Randolph. The team also welcomes a quartet of international players — Yaroslav Nikonov from Russia, Francesco Corato of Italy, Emil Skyttä from Finland, and Gantas Križanauskas of Lithuania — adding depth and global flair.
On the women’s side, first‑year head coach Karlie Burris inherits a squad shaped by a mix of youth and transfer experience. The roster includes seven true freshmen, two redshirt freshmen and three transfers, among them ESPN Top 100 recruit Teagan Colvin, who arrived from UNLV, and Sara Barhoum, the Oregon‑born three‑point record‑setter.
Another key addition is Jordyn Smith, the Freshman of the Year and First‑Team All‑Conference standout from Cal Poly Humboldt, who will look to anchor the frontcourt. With the full conference schedule set to be released next week, both teams are poised to generate early excitement among supporters.
