A New Chapter for Clemson Women's Soccer
Clemson’s women’s soccer program kicked off its 2026 season with a high‑profile home fixture against the No. 17 Ohio State Buckeyes, a match streamed live on the ACC Network. The noon kickoff on August 16 set the stage for a contest that pits a revitalized Tigers squad against a storied opponent.
At the heart of the lineup is Juju Harris, who returns for her second year after a breakout 2025 in which she tallied seven goals, eight assists and 22 points, including five game‑winning strikes. Her presence anchors a roster that boasts eleven sophomores from the 2024‑25 recruiting class ranked No. 2 nationally, among them Taylor Leib, Jolie Jenkins, Carla Small, Elle Bissinger, Natalie Brooks, Neely Kerr, Maddie Costello and Reese Klein.
Goalkeeper Nona Reason added another milestone, recording her sixth career shutout and making four saves, underscoring the defensive stability that will be crucial against Ohio State’s attack. Midfielder Anna Castenfelt also contributed, firing four shots with two on target, highlighting her growing influence in the midfield.
The Tigers will also welcome Elon transfer Gabby Hoschek, a senior midfielder who brings experience and versatility to the midfield.
