Game 1 featured Liam Long earning the win in a high‑scoring contest that ended 13‑11, and Freddie Haddad followed with a 12‑8 victory in Game 2 to seal the championship.
The decisive games were played at Monan Park, the historic field operated by BC High, providing a storied backdrop to the team’s triumph.
Looking ahead, the league’s All‑Star Game is scheduled for September 3 at Fenway Park, where the championship squad will join the league’s brightest stars.
Beyond the diamond, the team’s roots run deep in South Boston. Maureen Dahill, a longtime local and founder of Caught in Media, praised the players and coaches for embodying the neighborhood’s spirit.
Coaches Joe Christino, Pat McGowan and Charlie Bolger, alongside players such as Ronan Foley, Jack Hughes, Yadiel Soto, Will Christino, Owen Sullivan, Ryan Roberts, Brendan Pugsley and Brian Goodman, contributed to the collective effort that brought the title home.
