College Glory at Holy Cross
At Holy Cross, Flanagan helped the Crusaders capture three Patriot League titles in four years and was named the 2026 Patriot League MVP, a testament to her leadership and consistent excellence.
Teammates and coaches recall a player who could control the tempo, deliver pinpoint passes and hit clutch shots, traits that translated into a 544‑assist career that ranks fifth in league history.
Connections That Opened a Door
During a summer of reflection, Flanagan reconnected with former teammates, visited her alma mater and volunteered with younger girls, using the time to give back while scouting new opportunities.
Among the familiar faces she encountered were assistant coach Anita Jennings and mentor Cheryl Aaron, both of whom have professional playing experience in Ireland and offered valuable insight into the overseas market.
A Leap Across the Atlantic
In a move that surprised few given her network, Flanagan signed with the Waterford Wildcats of the Women’s Super League, a club based in Waterford, a town roughly two hours south of Dublin.
The transition will see her step onto the court for preseason training camp in early October, where she hopes to forge new chemistry with teammates and adapt to a different style of play.
