Bristol Motor Speedway has confirmed that the iconic Bass Pro Shops Night Race will return to its historic August dates of August 12‑14 in 2027, ending a multi‑year stretch when the event was held outside the traditional window.
The three‑day weekend will once again showcase the full spectrum of NASCAR’s national series, beginning with the Craftsman Truck Series on Thursday night, followed by the Food City 300 on Friday, and culminating with the premier Cup Series race under the lights on Saturday.
A Full‑Plate Schedule
While the August showdown makes its comeback, the speedway will also retain the spring Food City 500, scheduled for April 9‑11, 2027, ensuring year‑round marquee events for fans.
