Clarkson University announced that juniors Jacob Shirley and Beau Vardion have been selected to the Liberty League All‑Star teams, acknowledging their standout contributions during the recent season.

Shirley earned a Second‑Team nod after finishing second in the conference with 67 strikeouts and third with 58.1 innings pitched. He also posted seven starts in which he allowed two earned runs or fewer, recorded seven appearances with six or more strikeouts, and threw two complete games while finishing the year 5‑4 with a 4.47 earned‑run average.

Vardion, a Third‑Team selection, paced the team’s regulars with an .891 OPS, amassing a team‑high 41 hits, 59 total bases and a .480 slugging percentage. He also ranked fifth conference‑wide with 15 doubles and posted a .333 batting average, marking the second straight season the coaches have recognized his contributions.
