A Rough Start for the Bulldogs

Three unanswered goals in the latter period sealed a 4-0 victory for the Lions, marking the most lopsided loss for the Bulldogs in their series history against SLU. Freshman goalkeeper Mackenzie Lorkowski, making her first career start, kept the score respectable with 11 saves.
The defensive showing was underscored by a flurry of shots, with the opposition registering 16 attempts on goal — a volume not seen since September 4, 2025, at Mississippi State. Offensively, Madison Pensom found the back of the net for the first time this season and added her second career goal, while Reagan Roberts logged her inaugural assist.
