Big Ten Unveils 2026‑27 Men's Basketball Schedule
The Big Ten Conference announced the complete home and away matchups for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball season on May 12, setting the stage for another competitive year across the league.
Wisconsin’s schedule highlights a series of marquee games at the Kohl Center, where the Badgers will host the reigning national champion Michigan, along with Purdue, Nebraska, Indiana, Penn State, Oregon and Washington.
Home Games at the Kohl Center
The Kohl Center will serve as the backdrop for several high‑profile contests, including a showdown with Michigan that promises to draw a packed house of fans eager to see the champion’s early-season form.
In addition to Michigan, the Badgers will welcome Purdue, a perennial contender, and Nebraska, which reached the Sweet 16 last season, as well as Indiana, Penn State, Oregon and Washington, each bringing a distinct style of play.
Road Battles and Non‑Conference Tests
Wisconsin will hit the road to face a trio of programs that earned 2026 NCAA Tournament berths, traveling to Michigan State, UCLA and Ohio State, while also making stops in College Park, Minneapolis and West Lafayette.
Outside the conference, the Badgers have locked in non‑conference contests against Marquette on Dec. 5 and Auburn on Dec. 19, and will continue a two‑year agreement with Villanova that opens the season in Philadelphia.
The upcoming season follows a 2025‑26 campaign in which Wisconsin finished 24‑11 but exited the NCAA Tournament early, and the roster will look markedly different after four starters departed via graduation or the transfer portal.
