The Twinsburg High School Tigers are poised for a fresh start as they enter the 2026 season, bringing back 17 lettermen and a coaching staff led by Charles Saulter, who is in his fourth year at the helm with a career record of 34‑37.
A Revamped Roster
Among the returning standouts is quarterback Dylan Fantone, who last season completed 216 of 350 passes for 2,307 yards and 23 touchdowns, anchoring an offense that also features wide receivers Kyle Anello and Quentin Bailey, both of whom contributed significantly in the previous campaign.
Anello added 312 rushing yards and a touchdown on 81 carries while also catching 12 passes for 77 yards and a score, and Bailey is celebrated for his dynamic playmaking and reliable hands, making him one of the most exciting receivers on the squad.
Strategic Focus on the Ground Game
Running backs Zach Shobert and Vincent Mazzocco are also set to contribute, with Shobert averaging 3.4 yards per carry and Mazzocco gaining 66 yards on 13 attempts; Mazzocco’s recent 20‑pound muscle gain has increased his speed and vision, positioning him as a primary back.
Coach Saulter has repeatedly emphasized the importance of a strong running game, expecting multiple players to step up offensively, while the team prepares to compete in the American Conference alongside Brecksville, facing a schedule that includes matches against Kent Roosevelt, Bedford, Solon, Revere, Aurora, Kenston, Barberton, Copley, and Mayfield.
Although the Tigers will be younger than last year’s senior‑heavy lineup, the coaching staff stresses hard work and improvement, aiming to surprise opponents in a league they describe as both challenging and full of opportunity.
