Inclusive format takes center stage
Competition is divided into two pools of eight teams each. Pool A includes Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, the United States and Zambia, while Pool B features Argentina, Bulgaria, Chile, England, India, Malaysia, Spain and the Netherlands. Matches will be played at Louvain‑la‑Neuve HC in Belgium and Myra HC in the Netherlands, with the final showdown scheduled for August 24 at both the Wagener Stadium in the Netherlands and the Belfius Hockey Arena in Belgium.
The United States team, composed of eight athletes drawn from California, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia, was announced on August 3. Their campaign begins on August 20 with a clash against Belgium and will continue through August 23 with fixtures against France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Pakistan and Zambia, all times listed in Eastern Time.
