Apple Sports, the iPhone‑only platform that aggregates live scores and match data, has just broadened its soccer coverage to include fourteen leagues, among them the Austrian Bundesliga, the English Women’s Super League, the Greek Super League, the Indian Super League, the Saudi Pro League, Spain’s Liga F and Turkey’s Süper Lig. The rollout, which began in July, brings the total number of supported leagues to fourteen over the past month, giving fans a broader view of the global game.
A timely boost for soccer fans
Alongside the league additions, the newest version of the app introduces a formation viewer that lets users see tactical setups across most of the covered competitions. This feature, unveiled just one day before the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, adds a strategic layer to the viewing experience and underscores Apple’s push to deepen its sports coverage.
The update is available exclusively on the iPhone, with version 4.3 now listed on the App Store. While the app remains limited to Apple’s mobile ecosystem, its rapid expansion suggests a growing appetite for integrated sports tools among mobile users.
