A Summer of Firsts
ESPN will transform Williamsport, Pennsylvania, into the epicenter of baseball this August as it launches the most expansive broadcast of the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series ever attempted. Beginning on August 19, eight consecutive hours of live action will stream across ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and Disney+, delivering all 38 games to viewers in the United States and abroad.
The climax arrives on Sunday, August 30, when the Championship Game is televised at 3 p.m. ET on ABC, capping a week in which the International and United States champions are crowned on Saturday, August 29. Opening Day’s four games will also be available live on Disney+, while Canadian audiences can tune in via TSN+ and select TSN networks.
Long‑time ESPN voices will guide viewers through the tournament. Play‑by‑play announcers Karl Ravech and Mike Monaco will be joined by analysts Chris Burke, Jessica Mendoza, Eduardo Perez, Todd Frazier and Devon Travis, while studio hosts Lowell Galindo and Kevin Connors oversee the coverage from the network’s headquarters. Field reporter Jack DeLongchamps will provide on‑site updates from Lamade Stadium, where ESPN is installing super‑slow‑motion cameras and a new rail camera to bring the action into sharper focus.
Beyond the games, ESPN is enriching the experience with a Fan Zone in Williamsport that features a life‑size tournament bracket, interactive games and opportunities for fans to meet players. The broadcast will also include a special profile of Michael Cammarata, a retired uniform number and former Little League player who now serves as an FDNY firefighter, honoring his legacy with a retired No. 11 tribute.
The partnership between ESPN and Little League International stretches back to 1963, when the first Championship Game aired on ABC. This year’s coverage underscores the tournament’s global reach, with international feeds available on ESPN and Disney+ across multiple regions, and it reaffirms Williamsport’s status as the temporary capital of the baseball world during the final week of August.
