The Menominee Maroons finished the 2025 campaign unbeaten, a flawless 14‑0 run that culminated in a Division 7 state championship, the program’s first title since 2007.
Guided by head coach Chad Brandt, the team entered the offseason with a clear message: the hunger that fueled their historic run will drive the defense of the crown in 2026.
Defending the Crown
Among the returning seniors, quarterback Dylan Beal and running back Jackson Myszak have emerged as the offensive anchors, shouldering the responsibilities left by departed All‑State standouts Tanner Theuerkauf and Clayton Miller.
On the other side of the ball, defensive stalwarts Henry Dobbins and Nathan Nelson return as members of the All‑UP Dream Team, giving the Maroons a formidable front.
The senior class, praised for its competitiveness and steady improvement, embraces the challenge, with both Beal and Myszak expressing confidence in their ability to lead the squad forward.
The season opens with the traditional M&M Game against Marinette on August 28 at Walton Blesch Stadium, a matchup that will set the tone for another ambitious campaign.
