A Fresh Start on the Calendar
Marist University’s men’s basketball program revealed its 2026‑27 non‑conference schedule, a ten‑game lineup that promises a blend of early‑season tests and late‑season showcases. The announcement comes as the Red Foxes look to build momentum after a promising previous campaign.
Four of those contests will be played on the familiar hardwood of McCann Arena, beginning with a home opener against Dartmouth on Monday, November 2, followed by a showdown with UMBC on Thursday, November 5. Both games are part of the Metro‑America East Challenge and set the tone for the season.
The road portion of the schedule takes the team to Lehigh on Friday, November 13, and to Army West Point on Tuesday, November 17, where they will meet Patriot League rivals. Additional away games include a trip to Bryant on Tuesday, November 24, and a Saturday night contest at George Mason on November 28.
Mid‑season will see the Red Foxes return to McCann Arena for a home clash with Bryant before heading back on the road for the final stretch of non‑conference play. A home game against Oneonta on Saturday, December 12, marks the first meeting between the programs since 1978.
The schedule wraps up with two high‑profile matchups that will be new territory for Marist. The team will travel to face Tennessee on Sunday, December 20, and then host Cincinnati on Tuesday, December 22, marking the first-ever meetings with both of those national programs.
