Bucknell Field Hockey Standouts Earn TFHA Watchlist Honors Ahead of 2026 Season Opener

Ryane Fisahn and Bella Notaro’s breakout performances set the stage for a promising campaign

Bucknell University’s field hockey program is buzzing after two of its returning players earned spots on the TFHA 2026 Division I Returners Watchlist.

Ryane Fisahn, who saw limited action in the previous two seasons, emerged as a key offensive weapon, appearing in all 17 games and starting 14 of them.

She led the team with five goals, including decisive game‑winning scores against Davidson and Saint Francis University, the latter of which accounted for the only goal in that contest.

Freshman Bella Notaro also made the watchlist after a dramatic increase in playing time; she logged 631 minutes in 2025, up from just 122 the year before, and contributed six points through four assists and a goal against Michigan State.

Season Opener Set for August 28

The Bison will open the 2026 campaign at home against Ball State on August 28, a match that promises to showcase the newfound depth and experience of the squad.
