Penn State’s offensive coordinator Taylor Mouser has named Iowa State transfer Trevor Buhr and receiver Zay Robinson as the team’s preseason MVPs, citing their standout work during the recent camp.

Buhr, a redshirt junior guard, earned the honor for his consistency and physical presence on the line, a trait that helped him avoid surrendering a sack in his final season at Iowa State.
Robinson, also a transfer from Iowa State, was praised for his big‑play capability and versatility, having lined up both inside the slot and out wide while delivering a 75‑yard touchdown that became the longest score of the camp.
The Nittany Lions’ offensive line has been reshaped with new starters such as Malachi Goodman at left tackle, Cooper Cousins at guard, Brock Riker at center and Anthony Donko at right tackle, giving the unit a fresh look heading into the opener.
In the tight end room, walk‑on Finn Furmanek and former quarterback Peyton Falzone have drawn positive comments from coaches and teammates, adding depth to the position group.
