2026-27 UMBC Women's Basketball Schedule Unveiled

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County has released its 2026-27 women's basketball slate, a 30-game program that blends home-court comforts with a demanding road circuit.

The Retrievers open the season with back-to-back home contests against Stevenson on Nov. 2 and Mount St. Mary's on Nov. 5, giving fans an early taste of the new roster.

Their first test on the road comes three days later at Quinnipiac, before a five-game stretch that takes them to Pittsburgh on Nov. 18 and Brown on Nov. 21.

A highlight of the non-conference portion is the Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by Iona on Nov. 27-28, where UMBC will face a trio of opponents in a compact, high-intensity slate.

December brings a matchup at Navy in Annapolis on Dec. 3, followed by home games versus Coppin State, Notre Dame of Maryland and American, and a road trip to Maryland's Terrapins on Dec. 18.

America East play begins on New Year's Eve at Binghamton, and the team will host NJIT on Jan. 3 before embarking on a series of away games at Maine, New Hampshire and Bryant in early February.

The schedule wraps up with a home showdown against Binghamton and a bye, then a return trip to face UAlbany, Vermont and UMass Lowell before the season concludes.
