University at Albany Announces 2026‑27 Men’s Basketball Schedule

Season features 14 home games at Broadview Center, the return of the Albany Cup, and a challenging slate of road matchups

A Schedule Built for Competition

The University at Albany’s men’s basketball program has released its full schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a slate that promises plenty of excitement for fans across the Capital Region.

The schedule boasts 14 home contests at the Broadview Center, the most the team has hosted at the venue since the 2019‑20 season, and marks the return of the historic Albany Cup showdown against crosstown rival Siena on December 12.

Season tickets are on sale now, with prices starting at $100, giving supporters an affordable way to follow the Great Danes throughout the campaign.

Beyond the home stand, the team will test itself against a demanding non‑conference slate that includes trips to Manhattan, Holy Cross, Canisius, Syracuse, Penn State, Cornell, and Drexel, while also competing in the inaugural America East–Metro Basketball Challenge and the Queens City Classic MTE.

Head coach Dwayne Killings said the schedule was crafted to challenge the squad on the road and deliver memorable matchups for the fan base, setting the tone for a competitive season.

The regular season will culminate with the America East Tournament, culminating in the championship game on March 13, where the Great Danes hope to defend their recent success.
