DePaul University announced the addition of forward Emily Bojan to its women's basketball roster for the 2026‑27 season, marking a homecoming for the Chicago-born athlete.

Bojan arrives after four years at the University of Wisconsin, where she distinguished herself as a consistent offensive threat in softball, starting all 54 games and maintaining a 35‑game on‑base streak that ranks second in program history.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wisconsin and is now pursuing a Master of Education in Special Education at DePaul, underscoring her commitment to both academics and athletics.
Her high school years at Marist High School in New York were equally impressive; she set school records for total rebounds in a season and in a single game, and garnered Chicago Tribune All‑Area honors as a junior while earning ESCC All‑Conference recognition as a senior.
Head coach Jill M. Pizzotti praised Bojan's competitive edge, unselfish energy and work ethic, saying the forward will add a unique perspective and depth to the Blue Demons' lineup.
The signing not only restores a Chicago native to the DePaul program but also bridges her softball background with basketball, a crossover that could reshape her role on the court and inspire teammates with her relentless drive.
