Renovation and Ticket Updates
Penn State is embarking on a $700 million renovation of the west side of Beaver Stadium, a project slated to span three years and reshape the fan experience. The upgrade aims to modernize facilities while preserving the venue’s historic character.
Season ticket holders have been notified of the 2027 pricing structure, which offers the choice to remain in their current seats or relocate to the newly renovated west side. Those who finalize their purchase before the renewal deadline will lock in the same price for both 2027 and 2028.
Flexible Seating and Payment Options
The stadium will adopt a numbered seating system, echoing the organization used in Rec Hall and Pegula Ice Arena, to simplify navigation for fans. In addition, a later October start date extends the window for ticket purchases, and buyers can spread the cost over 12 months.
The 2027 season opens on September 4 with a matchup against Syracuse, followed by games versus Maine on September 11 and Temple on September 18. The complete Big Ten schedule will be released later, but the early slate promises competitive openings.
