UCLA, the defending national champion, enters the event with a roster reshaped by graduation. Though all five starters from the title‑winning side have moved on, the Bruins remain ranked inside the preseason Top 15. New transfers Addy Brown and freshman forward Sienna Betts bring a blend of experience and potential that could keep the team competitive.
Duke arrives with three of its five starters from last year’s ACC Championship still in place, bolstered by the addition of transfer Aaliyah Crump, who averaged 7.9 points and shot 41.1% last season at Texas.
