Grant Hebert Returns to Norfolk
The Admirals announced this week that the 27‑year‑old forward has agreed to a new contract, bringing him back for the 2026‑27 campaign. His decision follows a breakout season in which he posted career‑best numbers across the board.
In 50 games during the 2025‑26 regular season, Hebert recorded 13 goals, 22 assists and 52 penalty minutes, establishing new personal bests in games played, goals, assists, points and minutes taken.
His 35 total points ranked among the team leaders and helped the club secure a playoff berth, underscoring his role as both a scorer and a physical presence on the ice.
Hebert first joined Norfolk midway through the 2024‑25 season after a trade from the Manchester Storm of the Elite Ice Hockey League, where he had contributed 35 points in just 32 appearances.
Prior to his North American stint, the forward honed his skills in the United States Hockey League, capturing a Clark Cup with the Fargo Force, and earlier in the Canadian junior ranks with the Cornwall Colts and Cumberland Grads.
He also spent two seasons with the Allen Americans, where he tallied 46 points in 80 games, before moving east to pursue a professional career.
Off the ice, Hebert hails from St. Andrews, Ontario, and has combined his playing time with studies at Robert Morris University and the University of Maine, experiences that have shaped his work ethic and leadership style.
