A Star is Born in Huron
Blake Ellwein, a senior at Huron High School, was recently crowned Mr. Basketball, a distinction that highlights his outstanding performance on the court.
During his final season, he guided the Huron Tigers to the State AA championship and surpassed his father's long‑standing record to become the team's all‑time leading scorer, averaging 22 points per game.
Commitment to the Jackrabbits
Ellwein's scoring prowess and leadership have drawn attention from college programs, and he has committed to playing for South Dakota State University in Brookings.
