Season Overview
Clemson’s women’s basketball program has released its non‑conference slate for the 2026‑27 season, a schedule that blends home‑court advantage with challenging road trips.
Head coach Shawn Poppie said the plan is designed to test the team early, beginning with a seven‑game stretch in November that starts on Monday, November 2, when the Tigers host Radford at Littlejohn Coliseum.
The early stretch will see Clemson face opponents from seven different states and a mix of conferences, including a marquee matchup against South Carolina, the 2025 NCAA Tournament runner‑up, later in the month.
In late November the team will travel to Daytona Beach for the Classic, where they will meet a yet‑to‑be‑announced field of teams before heading into December.
The highlight of the road portion is the SEC/ACC Challenge game at Kentucky on December 3, followed by a series of contests against Gardner‑Webb, Western Carolina and Kennesaw State that will close out the non‑conference portion of the schedule.
Overall, the Tigers will host eleven home games, showcasing a diverse array of opponents across six conferences and setting the stage for a competitive start to the season.
