Slippery Rock University’s football team will kick off its 2026 season on August 27 when it hosts the University of Minnesota Duluth at home, marking the first meeting of the two programs this year.
Season ticket holders will enjoy admission to all six regular‑season home games, with adult tickets priced at $50, non‑SRU students at $25 and children also at $25. The package is designed to provide a cost‑effective way for fans to follow the team throughout the campaign.
Ticket and Parking Details
Single‑game tickets go on sale for $10 for adults, $5 for non‑SRU students and $15 for reserved seats, while children under six are admitted free. Reserved parking for the remainder of the season is available through Lot A, priced at $25 per spot or $100 for larger vehicles.
A limited grass tailgate area between the soccer field and baseball stadium will accommodate only 130 pre‑sold spots, each priced at $20. These spaces are reserved for fans who purchase a prepaid tailgate package, and they will be cleared only for the opening game.
Regular tailgate lots — Lot A and Lot B — and student parking will remain open for the rest of the season but will not be cleared for the opening game, as classes are still in session. All parking purchases must be completed online, as SRU has instituted a strict no‑cash policy for all football events.
Fans can stay connected with SRU Athletics through its official accounts on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram, where game updates, ticket links and promotional offers are regularly posted.
