Tripleheader Weekend Returns to Pocono
NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series will make its long‑awaited return to Pocono Raceway in 2027, ending a one‑year absence that was forced by the sport’s scheduling clash with the FIFA World Cup and marking the 17th consecutive year the trucks have run at the Pennsylvania venue.
The track will stage a three‑day weekend from June 11 through June 13, featuring races from all three of NASCAR’s national divisions. The Truck Series will open the festivities on June 11, followed by the O’Reilly Auto Parts‑sponsored event and the premier Cup Series race later in the weekend.
Adding to the excitement, MillerTech Battery, which served as a primary sponsor for last year’s O’Reilly‑branded race, has confirmed its return to back the 200‑mile truck contest, underscoring the growing partnership between the series and the Pennsylvania‑based company.
Pocono Raceway’s leadership, headed by President Ben May, has highlighted the significance of bringing the full slate of NASCAR dates back to the historic 2.5‑mile layout, noting that the venue has sold out its infield for six straight years and its grandstands for four consecutive seasons.
Fans can secure single‑day tickets starting at $65, and the track will again offer a ‘Kids Free’ program, granting complimentary admission for children twelve and under on all three race days. Renewal of seats and campsite reservations must be completed by August 31.
While the exact television partners and start times are still being finalized, Pocono officials expect Amazon Prime to continue streaming the Cup Series event, as it did in the previous year, ensuring that viewers across the country can follow the action live.
