Diamond Classic Brings Fall Action to Arkansas Baseball and Softball

Eight exhibition games, community events and NIL funding combine in a month‑long showcase

A Fall of Firsts for Arkansas Baseball and Softball

The Diamond Classic exhibition series, organized by Diamond Sports Alliance, will run from September 18 through October 23, offering eight games that blend baseball and softball in a unique fall schedule. The lineup includes Red‑White scrimmages, a home run derby presented by Wright’s Barbecue, and a series of matchups designed to give fans a preview of the upcoming season.

Games will be staged at two of the university’s premier facilities — Bogle Park and Baum‑Walker Stadium — where spectators can watch live action and then meet the players during post‑game autograph sessions that deepen community ties.

Both of Arkansas’ head coaches, Dave Van Horn for baseball and Courtney Deifel for softball, will lead their squads in contests against Tulsa, Little Rock, Oklahoma State, Dallas Baptist and the University of Central Arkansas, providing a diverse slate of opponents and competitive environments.

Ticket options vary by sport and seating tier, with general admission for baseball priced at $17 and premium seats at $27, while softball tickets sit at $11; series passes range from $51 to $91 for baseball and $33 to $63 for softball, giving fans flexibility in how they experience the events.

All proceeds from the series are earmarked for Name, Image and Likeness opportunities for student‑athletes, turning the exhibition schedule into a direct financial boost for the next generation of Razorbacks and reinforcing the program’s commitment to supporting its athletes beyond the field.
