NBC Sports has revealed its comprehensive 2026 college football broadcast slate, confirming a roster of familiar faces and fresh talent that will guide viewers through a packed season of Big Ten and Notre Dame action.
The Talent Behind the Broadcast
For Big Ten Saturday Night, the network will once again lean on play‑by‑play veteran Noah Eagle, longtime analyst Todd Blackledge and sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen, who will be on hand for the opening showdown between No. 16 Michigan and Western Michigan on September 5.
Meanwhile, the Notre Dame Football crew will be led by veteran broadcaster Dan Hicks alongside former NFL coach Jason Garrett and analyst Caroline Pineda, who will call the Irish’s season‑opening battle against Wisconsin at Lambeau Field on September 6.
The schedule also features marquee primetime contests such as USC’s home game against San Jose State on August 29, a November 7 showdown where No. 4 Notre Dame hosts No. 7 Miami, and a November 21 clash that sees No. 19 SMU travel to South Bend.
Across the board, more than 25 games will be televised on NBC and its streaming partner Peacock, with additional coverage anchored by Ahmed Fareed, who will host College Countdown Presented by Genesis alongside analysts Chris Simms, Joshua Perry, Nicole Auerbach and Connor Rogers.
