The Waynesville soccer program is entering a pivotal season after a modest four‑win campaign a year ago. With a larger contingent of juniors and seniors, the squad hopes to translate experience into a higher goal total and a deeper run in the district playoffs.
Key Offensive Players
Leading the attack, senior forward Brody Cross brings a relentless work ethic and meticulous preparation that coaches expect to translate into a team‑leading goal tally. Complementing him are sophomores Branson Wright and Blake Howser, who have already shown flashes of attacking flair, and juniors Jacoby Bates and Preston Ross, whose growth potential adds further depth to the forward line.
Midfield stability will be anchored by seniors Colton Fidler and Tallon Bennett, whose technical skill set and vision are poised to control the tempo and create scoring opportunities for the attackers.
