Mic’d Up Returns: Coaches, Students, and the New Era of SMU Athletics
The Mustangs Mic’d Up podcast‑style series makes its comeback on August 26, 2026, kicking off at 7 p.m. inside Barley House in Dallas. The opening episode will feature SMU Football Head Coach Rhett Lashlee as the season‑opening headliner, setting the tone for a year‑long dialogue between coaches, student‑athletes and the broader Mustang community.
Throughout the 2026‑27 season, the show will travel to five Dallas‑area venues — Barley House, Mesero, Monkey Bar on 9, Mi Cocina Over Under and Ozona Grill & Bar — delivering a total of twelve episodes. In addition to Lashlee, who will host six of the shows, Men’s Basketball Head Coach Andy Enfield and Women’s Basketball Head Coach Adia Barnes each bring their own five‑show schedules, weaving together insights from football, basketball and volleyball.
