The University of Michigan’s men’s basketball program is set to embark on a nine‑day summer tour that will take it from the Baltic shores of Lithuania to the Adriatic coast of Croatia.
Running from August 23 through August 27, the itinerary includes three exhibition games against the Lithuanian senior national team, the Lithuanian B squad, and the Dubrovnik‑based Mega SUPERBET, with matches scheduled in Vilnius, Utena and Dubrovnik.
A Summer of Basketball and Culture
Coach Mike Boynton Jr. previewed the tour during a media session, saying the games will serve as a laboratory for experimenting with lineups, building chemistry and preparing the team for the upcoming 2026‑27 season.
The schedule also allocates nine days of activities beyond basketball, featuring cultural experiences and visits to historic sites that showcase the rich heritage of both countries.
