The Creighton University women's soccer program has announced its 2026 home‑game promotional schedule, promising nine matches that blend competitive play with family‑focused celebrations.
A Season of Celebration
Each contest will be anchored by a distinct theme, ranging from cultural festivals to community appreciation nights, and will be accompanied by giveaways that include scarves, tote bags, keychains and other merchandise.
Socctoberfest Takes Center Stage
A highlight of the calendar is Socctoberfest, scheduled for the early part of the season, which will feature live polka music, a commemorative glass stein and a $35 meal ticket that promises a full‑service dining experience for attendees.
The season opener on August 27 will pit the team against the Kansas City Roos, and the match will be preceded by food trucks and a visit from Sporting KC representatives, creating a crossover that ties the two clubs together.
Fans can look forward to a fan appreciation night that offers $1 popcorn, complimentary tickets for faculty and staff, and bounce houses to keep younger spectators entertained.
Additional themed evenings include Pups at the Pitch on September 26, Senior Day on September 13 with commemorative T‑shirts, and a Kid’s Day activity book distributed on September 30 for members of the Lil’ Jays Club.
Special community nights such as Omaha Day on October 10, Unity Night on October 21 and Heroes Day on November 7 will each bring their own giveaways, ranging from scarves and tote bags to motel keychains, while also extending free admission to first responders, military personnel and veterans.
Discounts are available for Lil’ Jays Club members, who can attend the opening match at no cost, and faculty and staff receive reduced pricing on select events, reinforcing the university’s commitment to engagement across its campus.
Together, these initiatives aim to turn each home game into a community celebration, blending sport with local culture and giving fans plenty of reasons to return throughout the season.
