A packed schedule for the Huskies
The University of Connecticut’s men’s ice hockey program has released its 2026‑27 calendar, a 34‑game journey that blends home‑ice dominance with a handful of marquee road trips. Seventeen of those contests will be played on home soil, split between the state‑of‑the‑art Toscano Family Ice Forum and the historic PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford.
The season kicks off with the Icebreaker Tournament in early October, where the Huskies will host Penn State and Bowling Green on October 9‑10. A two‑game set against Colorado College follows on October 16‑17, setting the tone for a competitive start.
Hockey East play begins with a home‑and‑home series against Boston University on October 22, after which the team travels to Merrimack for a back‑to‑back on October 30‑31.
